What Defines a Freemason

Freemasonry is the worlds oldest fraternal organisation.

It is open to all good men of 21 years and above.

To decide to become a Freemason of your own free will & accord.

You must believe in a Supreme Being. (the definition of which being a personal matter for each individual).

Being loyal to your country of residence.

It has deeply profound, moral, ethical & philosophical lessons to teach, which are communicated by the rituals in our ceremonies.

Our aims are the development of the individual, for the betterment of himself and society as a whole. And to raise money for good causes & charities.

It is not difficult to become a Freemason.

Evidence of good character & a desire for knowledge are required, along with the desire to be part of something greater than oneself. It is also highly enjoyable & a great way to make many new friends.

Freemasonry is for families too. Your relatives, partners & when appropriate your children are all encouraged to attend and participate in our social events held throughout the year.

If you are interested in the idea of becoming a Freemason, value history & seek the knowledge & enjoyment both can bring. Then we are the Lodge for you.

Following initial discussions, we progress to a slightly more formal meeting, after which if you are still interested we can schedule you for initiation into our Lodge
